Using BIA and ADF technology, the Tanita RD-953 Bluetooth InnerScan Dual-Frequency Body Composition Monitor delivers a detailed body composition analysis and accurate readings. 

This large-sized Bluetooth Body Composition Monitor is high capacity and measures up to 200kgs. It connects via Bluetooth to the MyTanita app and the HealthPlanet app. Data from these apps can be synced to the Apple Health app and the Google Fit app.

    Old school Tanita user, upgrading.

    I've had a Tanita scale for over a decade. Have just upgraded as I wanted the latest tech and ability to have an app that records the weight recordings. So far, all is good. App connects to the scale easily, and the ability to see your weight over time is cool.

    It's probably going to be good

    It's probably going to be good, but the instruction manual was a nightmare. Edit people!

    When two people need to spend a couple of hours working out how to just measure weight then perhaps you should rethink the complexity of your language. It seemed like someone who wasn't a native English speaker wrote it!

    Great scales

    Love the scales and all the information they provide. I initially downloaded the Health Planet app which I managed to sync to my phone easily. I did find it difficult to work out how to then record my weight each time. Then I discovered the My Tanita app which is so much more intuative. It would have been great to have the knowledge of the apps outlined more clearly.

    Tanita RD-953

    I bought a Tanita scale in 2011 which can only measure body fat, and is still working well.

    I bought this one to monitor more body compositions.

    The data from both scales are matching and consistent, that implies the readings are accurate.

    The Bluetooth is working well with my Iphone and Samsung.

    I would give 5 stars if it is made in Japan.
