Firstly the scale is a good size however the hard plastic feet on the scale are unsafe and the scale can slide on tiles. So you would need to be careful stepping on them. Other brands provide feet that have skid free rubber. For this price and at minimal extra cost Tanita should provide this safety inclusion on them. Readings are mostly accurate with the occasional discrepancy of 0.4 to 0.5 kilos difference. Overall happy but it is in need of some safety minor improvements.

I paid for about 7 scales before I settled on this one. 2 of them I couldn’t even see the numbers. When the pharmacy bought scale failed a second time I moved over to this product. I am very satisfied and I wish my chemist stock this product. It is stable, consistent and feels reliable under the feet. To test any scale just weigh yourself 4 times in 2 minutes. This is the real test. I still have the mechanical scale but I can’t read the numbers and it’s hard to figure out accuracy to 0.1kg. This Japanese scale is bright and easy to read. Very consistent readings between measurements. That is what you want.
